Responsibilities:

involved in assessing, evaluating and setting nursing care standards and objectives for the organization. In addition to overseeing the operations of the nursing unit, heads of nursing provide leadership and supervision to their direct reports, including nurse managers and the nursing staff. 1- Ensure that nursing care meets regulatory standards 2- Review and approve nursing policies and procedures 3- Evaluate nursing staff performance 4- Collaborate with nursing staff and coordinate of patient care 5- Train nursing management staff and coordinate educational programs for patients and their families 6- Facilitate meetings with medical staff from other departments 7- Ensure that nursing care medical services are meeting patient needs 8- Implement quality assurance systems 9- Develop new patient care programs 10- heads of nursing is governmental healthcare regulations pertaining to nursing care. 11- Understanding best practices in nursing procedures and staying current on healthcare administration industry developments are also important

Requirements:

1- The head of nursing needs to be familiar with human resources procedures related to hiring, retaining and promoting nursing personnel. In addition, individuals in this role 2- Local and abroad study with nursing qualify 3- Head of nurses 3 years, and 5 years of experiences nursing 4- Proven ability to manage and evaluate nursing staff 5- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills 6- Proficiency in multi-tasking and handling stressful situations 7- Talent for negotiation and collaboration 8- Nursing professionals in this role hold a variety of titles, including head of nursing and director of nursing 9- Nurses with previous work experience and strong healthcare management skills 10- Nursing Administration can prepare registered nurses (RNs) for supervisory roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately leading to a rewarding, high-profile position as a head of nursing.
