#Leadership - Work within MHO constitution, Internal Rules, Client/child protection policy. - Ensure proper functioning NGO work toward fulfilling Vision Mission statements, recorded the Constitution. - Be to review implement mission NGO accordance the broad strategic direction - Work the Management Team implement NGO approved strategic plans, make recommendations the BOG about future programs. - Develop implement Annual Action Plan consultation the MT, submit it the Board approval before sending donors. - Ensure NGO outputs remain relevant effective through evidence-based monitoring, evaluation, research, mainly focused the quality outcomes. - Draft amendments the Constitution, staff policies, other policies, submit the board approval. - The Director shall conform his/her actions high standards professional ethics to best practices similar NGOs. Specifically, Director shall make decisions approve actions without exposing NGO undue risk, liability instability. - Ensure clients receive highest level care according MHO polices procedures #Finances - Take initiative the development, implementation review NGO’s financial policies systems under supervision the board. - Ensure that NGO financial policies systems implemented. - Develop financial plan, report budget consultation the MT, submit the Board approval before sending donors. - Work the board fundraising order sustain organization. - Inform Board all potential donors of proposals submitted them. #Administration - Sign agreements other official letters issued by organization. - Ensure that funding applications reports donors partners completed according donor agreements. - Maintain MOUs relevant ministries. #Staff Oversight - Take final responsibility the recruitment, dismissal supervision all MHO staff advisors (both paid volunteer). - Recruitment, discipline, dismissal any non-management- level staff be done consultation the Management Team. - Recruitment, discipline, changes position, dismissal any management-level staff be done consultation the MT appropriate, approval by BOG. - Give direction, and supervision staff. - Ensure that staff members appraised annually. - Create learning organization that provides for staff members’ continued growth development their capacity carry out jobs the best their ability. - Keep records staff annual holidays sick leave - Plan, organize manage events such staff birthdays, training days, retreats - Oversee travel, visa accommodation foreign staff volunteers the organization #Public Relations - Network key partners, donors, government, the general public promote good cooperation confidence the of NGO. - Liaise network other partners, national care providers, NGO’s, relevant agencies government departments - Proactively find partnerships relevant origination staff training client services - Oversee organizing hosting team schedules, orientations documentation teams - Oversee MHO internal and external communications
