Responsibilities:

Under the direction of a head pastry chef / head baker, you help create pastries and other baked goods. As Pastry and Bakery Assistant you are responsible for preparing, baking and decorating our delicious brownies, cakes, breads, tarts and muffins. Your duties • Prepare Baked Goods according to specified standardized recipes: by measuring ingredients, kneading dough, mixing by hand or with kitchen tools, taking items in and out of the oven, and placing goods on cooling racks. • Finishing Baked Goods by decorating with frostings, icings, toppings or filling pastry: You create delicious touches that make baked items look and taste wonderful. • Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines: by sanitising work areas, labeling products, keeping temperature records, maintain personal hygiene and grooming, etc. • Assist with stock management: ordering, receiving and storage of all deliveries. Contribute to inventory controls. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
